He has written a dozen plays including: Understanding Women, Lost for Words, Crazy Ladies, Menopause Made Me Do It, My Husband's Nuts and How To Train Your Husband.

 

Devon encourages theatre's to locate his plays in their own locales using place names and personalities that local audience identify with. Australian editions of his plays are available for production from his Australian agents David Spicer Productions in Australia.  In New Zealand he is represented by The Play Bureau.

 

Devon is employed by the Detour Theatre to direct, write and tutor theatre. Each year Detour Theatre commissions him to write a new comedy to premier at the theatre. This play is then released for wider production. His plays are now in production in theatre's nationwide and abroad.

 

Originally from Nelson (New Zealand) he has been located in Tauranga since 1993 and is well respected in the theatre community there.

 

Devon is married and has two teenage children.
