The quintessential Australian story of how three clean-cut young men who looked like bank tellers, and a shy cuddly girl-next-door type, left their hometown to have a go at making the big time.
With their unique vocal arrangements and pure sound they were instantly appealing to audiences around the world, named as the Best New Group by Britain's Top of the Pops, and becoming the highest selling recording artists of 1965 outranking both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Their timeless songs included "Georgy Girl", "I'll Never Find Another You", "A World of Our Own", "The Carnival is Over" and "I am Australian."
This production was first staged in in 2015 with the Four Seekers in attendance on opening night.
“a powerful and entertaining story of the challenges and perks of fame, the heart ache of being on the other side of the world away from home and a group with the golden sound that the world fell in love with.” Theatre 101
“This show – it’s cast, the story, the music, the dancing, the costumes, was sensational." Out Perth
“The songs are as appealing today as they were 50 years ago and they are integrated well into the story.”
“One of the joys of this production is its suitability for all ages. Both a history lesson and a fun night out with some great music.”
